SpokeChoice supports sending notifications to your web browser to notify you of certain events. SpokeChoice™may receive notifications through your web browser. Notifications are different from in-app Messages. The notification will appear on your device in the same manner as when you get a text message and they will be received even if the web browser is not open, the SpokeChoice website is not visible, and/or you are not logged-in.

Please Note:

• You will only receive notifications on the devices that you subscribe on. Notifications are device-specific so you must subscribe on each device you wish to receive notifications on. For example, subscribing on your phone will not cause notifications to be delivered to your desktop or laptop. To receive notifications on multiple devices, subscribe on each device. Likewise, you must unsubscribe on each device to which previously subscribed.
• Settings are also device-specific; you may select which notification types you wish to receive on each device.
• Since notifications are device-specific, if you unsubscribe on a specific device (i.e. a shared desktop), and other users have subscribed on that device, they will also be unsubscribed. For this reason, it is not recommended that you subscribe to notifications on shared devices.

In order to enable this feature, you must confirm all of the following:

• Ensure you are using a supporting browser: Edge (recommended), Chrome, Safari (not recommended).
• In your device (phone, computer, etc) settings, allow your web browser to receive notifications.
• If using Edge - go to Settings and then:
  1. Select Cookies and site permissions
  2. Under All permissions select Notifications and make sure Ask before sending is ON and that spokechoice.com is not in the Block list.
• From this dialog, click on the Subscribe button to subscribe to the SpokeChoice notification service.
• From this dialog, enable the types of notifications you wish to receive.

To setup notifications for a specific device, select the upper-right menu and then select Manage Notifications.

This opens the Notification Settings dialog.

Click the Subscribe button to begin receiving notifications. After you are subscribed, the options for which notifications to receive is then displayed. Check the types of notifications you wish to receive then click Save Settings.

To unsubscribe from all notifications on the current device, click the Unsubscribe button.

Note: Only those notifications that are applicable to your role are displayed.
