For a W2 employee you can setup maximum work week hours so they can not go over that amount. By default it is set to 40 hours but you may want to set it up to allow more for a certain amount of time.

Note: 1099 employees will not be capped at this amount, only W2 employees

To set this up select People Manager - People. Find the employee you like to set hours for.

Select the Edit Employee Fields button

Enter the amount of hours in the max Hours per week text box. Remember to select them as a W2 or this will have no effect.

Hit the save button after you have entered the amount of hours.
