Assistants must have a supervising Therapists adding to SpokeChoice. Doing so ensures that the billing can be done by using the Supervisors NPI when an Assistants enters a claims. In addition you can assign a rate to the supervising therapist for signing each of the assistants SOAP notes.

To assign an assistant to a therapist supervisor go to people manager Therapists - Assistants

Select the supervising Therapist at top right and hit new. Once the assignment dialog is opened you can select the asistant.

Note: You will not see assistants until they have been entered alone with their license type. Click here if you need to add their license type

You can also select the Service code (payroll only code) to use when the supervisor signs their SOAP note. Click here to understand how to create a service code. Each time the supervisor signs a SOAP note a payroll item will be added for that event.
