DDD requires you have modifiers on each billing transportation.

They require the following

Pick up only - Modifier DR.

Drop off only - Modifier RD

Drop off AND pick up - Modifier DR,RD

This means you need to create 3 separate service codes so you can determine what type of transportation was performed.

We would suggest the following

• TRA Pickup = A0120 with Modifier DR
• TRA Dropoff = A0120 with Modifier RD
• TRA Both = A0120 with Modifier(s) DR,RD.

MAKE SUre the service codes are "hourly" and not daily.

Then if you have two units of transportation during the day (ie: pickup and drop off ) you would use TRA Both

If you only did one either pickup or drop off you would use TRA Pickup or TRA Dropoff respectively.
