Monitoring Missed Appointments (No-show)

SpokeChoice provides 2 features that can be used to monitor no-show appointments. A no-show occurs when the provider is more than 60 minutes late to a scheduled appointment.

In the Schedule app, the Appointment Status drawer is used to view Today's no-show appointments. The Appointment No-Shows drawer is used to view all no-show appointments for a specific pay period.

Appointment Status

This feature must be enabled using Back Office>Settings>Scheduler Enable Schedule>Appointment Status appointment tracking feature.

Use this feature to see when providers are late to appointments.

Once enabled, the SpokeChoice server will check for late appointments every 15 minutes starting at the top of the hour. Once a provider is 15 minutes late starting an appointment, the appointment will appear on the above grid. You may filter the display to only show appointments that are 15, 30, 45, 60, and 75 minutes late or more.

Click on the red user+clock icon to mark the appointment as a no-show and reschedule it.

See Resolving No-Show Appointments for more details no rescheduling no-show appointments.

Appointment No-Shows

This feature is used to reschedule (resolve) no-show appointments.

Select the pay period you wish to view no-shows for. This will list all appointments that were not associated with a visit.

NOTE: If your settings allow providers to Clock-In without an appointment, they may have actually fulfilled the appointment. To correct this, use  Home Care>Timecards to edit the visit and associate the appointment.

Click on the red user+clock icon to mark the appointment as a no-show and reschedule it.

See Resolving No-Show Appointments for more details no rescheduling no-show appointments.

Notifications

It is possible to receive browser notifications on your device when providers are late to an appointment. See Setting Up Notifications for more information on receiving these notifications.
