Rehire an employee

If you have an employee in SpokeChoice that used to work for you and they are not in iSolved but you want to rehire them please FOLLOW these rules explicitly or issue of duplicate employees will arise

Since the employee is already in SpokeChoice and they have no payroll identifier on them and you enter in iSolved and synchronize, it WILL create a whole new identity. In other words it will duplicate the record and you will not be able to use all the old data on the employee.

To avoid this situation please follow this steps

1) Add the employee to iSolved.

2) note the employee ID in iSolved

3) Find the employee in SpokeChoice.

4) Make them active

5) Open the employee fields and find the Payroll identifier field.

6) Enter the iSolved employee ID in that field and save the record.

7) Now you can synchronize from iSolved and be assured it will not duplicate the employee.

If you do not follow this you will have a duplicated employee making things difficult for future reference.
