AHCCCS Live-in requirement - XREF
AHCCCS requires that for Live-in individual that serve members EVV vendors (SpokeChoice) send over what they call XREF data. This is the cross reference to a provider that is a live-in individual and what sort of relationship they have with the member.
If this information is not sent over then you might receive a non-compliance notice either from AHCCCS or DDD for not being in conformance.
This information is ONLY Sent if you indicate that the provider associated with the member is a live-in individual. Otherwise the system has no idea. It is up to you as the data manager to ensure the accuracy of this information.
You must
1) Indicate that the provider is a live-in individual
2) You must indicate the relationship of the individual.
Setting up the data
To indicate to SpokeChoice that you have live-in individual and their relationship on the provider to client assignment page check the is Live-in check box and then choose the relationship.
Peopler manager - people - provider assignment
Select the employee - Add or edit as necessary.
Check the is Live-in / Onsite caregiver check box and indicate the relationship
Make sure and hit the update button to save your changes.
There is a report called "Live-in Providers". You can install that report to ensure all provider that you know are live-in are marked as such.
